(Sports Network) - The Philadelphia Flyers will aim for back-to-back wins for the first time in a month as they welcome the Tampa Bay Lightning to the Wachovia Center tonight.

The Flyers ended a nine-game losing streak with a win in Atlanta on Sunday. The 2-1 triumph was the first win for the club since beating the New York Islanders on January 2. That victory over the Isles also gave Philadelphia its longest winning streak of the year at three games.

On Sunday, Jeff Carter scored both goals for Philadelphia and registered the game-winner with 1:02 left in the third period.

Carter added a second-period goal for the Flyers, who avoided their second 10- game losing skid of the season. Antero Niittymaki stopped 37 shots to post his first win since November 30th.

The Flyers are dead last in the NHL with just 29 points and are on pace for the lowest point total in franchise history.

Philly is playing the first of consecutive games at home tonight. The Flyers, who are 3-15-4 as the host this year, will also welcome New Jersey to town on Thursday.
