SPOKANE, Wash. (CP) - Justin Falk and Drayson Bowman scored goals 52 seconds apart in the first period and the Spokane Chiefs held on to defeat the Everett Silvertips 4-2 in Western Hockey League play on Wednesday night.
The Chiefs moved into sole possession of second place in the U.S. Division with their third win over the division leaders. Derek Ryan and Ondrej Roman assisted on both first-period goals for Spokane (17-11-3-1). Sean Zimmerman and Michael Grabner also scored for the Chiefs.
