LETHBRIDGE, Alta. (CP) - Dwight King's second goal of the game, with one second to play, gave the Lethbridge Hurricanes a 5-4 Western Hockey League victory over the Red Deer Rebels Saturday. With Lethbridge up 4-2 and on the penalty kill, King had an open net short-handed shot with just over two minutes left to play. He hit the post.
Red Deer rallied with back-to-back Martin Hanzal goals (the last with 23.7 seconds left) and it looked like the teams were headed to an unlikely overtime.
