(Sports Network) - The Anaheim Ducks shoot for their third straight win this evening when they visit the Los Angeles Kings in a battle of Pacific division rivals at Staples Center.

Anaheim had dropped two in a row before defeating Detroit on Wednesday and Minnesota on Friday. The Ducks sent the Wild to their first loss of the season with a 2-1 triumph at Honda Center.

Jean-Sebastien Giguere made 27 saves for the Ducks, while Scott Niedermayer and Sean O'Donnell each tallied a goal in the winning effort. Giguere stopped 13 shots in the third period to secure the victory for Anaheim, which improved to 5-0-2 this season.

Meanwhile, Los Angeles ended a four-game losing streak in a big way with Thursday's 4-0 blanking of the Phoenix Coyotes at Glendale Arena.

Mathieu Garon stopped all 40 shots he faced and the Kings got four power-play goals from Dustin Brown, Alexander Frolov, Anze Kopitar and Michael Cammalleri.

Garon posted the first shutout of the season and ninth of his career, while Rob Blake added two assists in the win for LA.
