(Sports Network) - The Anaheim Ducks will try to rebound from their first regulation loss of the season when they open the doors of the Honda Center this evening for the Minnesota Wild.

The Ducks began the year with a 12-0-4 mark and set a new NHL record for most games to start a season without a regulation loss. That was until they paid a visit to the Calgary Flames on Friday night. The Flames earned a 3-0 victory behind 37 saves from goaltender Miikka Kiprusoff. Tony Amonte also added a goal and an assist to lift Calgary at the Saddledome.

Ilya Bryzgalov let up two goals on three shots and Jean-Sebastien Giguere replaced him in the second period and stopped all 14 shots he faced for Anaheim.

The Edmonton Oilers set the previous NHL record by gathering points in their first 15 games to start the 1984-85 campaign.

Minnesota is coming off Saturday's win in Los Angeles. Todd White's goal in the sixth round of the shootout proved to be the winner, as the Wild posted a 3-2 win over the Kings.
