PETERBOROUGH, Ont. (CP) - Steve Downie had a goal and two assists to help the Peterborough
Petes end a seven-game losing streak by beating the Toronto St. Michael's Majors 3-1 in OHL action Wednesday.
Daniel Ryder scored his 100th career goal and added an assist while Justin Soryal also scored for the Petes (7-11-0-0) who celebrated the 50th anniversary of the team's first home game in a pre-game ceremony.
