The isn't going to be a casino funded arena any more and no one seems willing to put up any cash for the team.

The league may want the team to stay (as do I) but it looks like the city is all but driving them out. I can't say I blame Joe Taxpayer in Pittsburgh, at some point cities have to stop building stadiums and arenas with public money.

It seems that potential buyers like Jim Balsillie will say what they have to in order to get the team but really just want to move them ASAP.

What do you think?

I hate to say it, but I believe it's gotten to the point were they have to be moved. I'm not sure they will be moving or not?

This team has exhausted all their attempts in getting a stadium built, and have come up empty time after time. Owners have come and gone, and they have had financial problems practically from the time they were brought into the league.

They almost folded in 1975 when their creditors demanded payment of back debts. And everyone knows that in 1998, Mario Lemieux brought the team out of bankruptcy so he could get the millions owed to him in back salary.

And now the story continues, WHO'S GOING TO BAIL OUT THE PENGUINS, AGAIN??
