(Sports Network) - The Ottawa Senators hope to post a winning streak tonight when they visit the New Jersey Devils at Continental Airlines Arena.

The Sens ended a two-game slide on Wednesday, defeating Buffalo, 4-2, at HSBC Arena. Jason Spezza and Peter Schaefer each scored third-period goals as the Senators rallied for the road win.

Chris Phillips added a critical empty-net marker in the final minute and Chris Neil also lit the lamp for the Senators, who had dropped seven of their previous eight matches coming in.

Mike Fisher added two assists while Ray Emery came up with 27 saves. Emery returned to the lineup after missing just over a week with a sprained wrist. Emery, who is 4-2-0, has played much better than free agent pickup Martin Gerber so far this campaign.

Spezza extended his point streak to six games (4g, 5a), while Dany Heatley checks in with a run of the same span (3g, 4a).

The Sens, who are 5-4-1 on the road, will host Buffalo on Saturday.
