Sports Network) - The New Jersey Devils seek their third consecutive win tonight when they head across the Hudson to visit the rival New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden.

The Devs have toppled Toronto and Philadelphia during their spurt, and won three-of-four overall this season. On Saturday, Brian Gionta scored the game- winning goal to lead the Devils to a 3-2 win over the Philadelphia Flyers at Continental Airlines Arena.

Brian Rafalski had three assists and Jamie Langenbrunner and Zach Parise each had goals for the Devils, while Martin Brodeur finished with 23 saves.

Gionta's heroics came on the heels of Thursday's shootout victory over the Maple Leafs. In that match he posted his first career natural hat trick.
The Devils will visit Pittsburgh on Wednesday.

New York, meanwhile, has lost three straight after opening the season with consecutive victories. On Saturday the Blueshirts were dealt a 7-4 defeat in Buffalo. Chris Drury recorded his first career hat trick to lift the Sabres.

The status of Saturday's game was in question until Saturday morning, as the Buffalo area was still recovering from the nearly two feet of wet snow that fell on Thursday.
