(Sports Network) - The Philadelphia Flyers try to build on their most productive stretch of the season tonight when they welcome the New Jersey Devils to the Wachovia Center.

The Flyers have won two of their last three games, something they hadn't done all season. On Thursday, Antero Niittymaki made 39 saves and Mike Knuble scored in his third consecutive game as the Flyers defeated the New York Islanders, 3-2, at Nassau Coliseum.

Simon Gagne scored on a breakaway and Randy Robitaille also tallied for the Flyers, who bounced back from Wednesday's 3-2 home setback versus Nashville.

The Flyers posted their fifth win in the month of November, which is two more than they managed in October.

Philly will visit New Jersey on Friday.

The Devils, meanwhile, are happy to be back in the win column, but hope to cure their road woes tonight. Jersey lost the final four contests of a five- game road trip, but bounced back on Friday with a 5-2 home win over Pittsburgh. Patrik Elias scored a goal and added two assists to lead the effort.
