(Sports Network) - The Ottawa Senators will try to take a firmer hold on their Eastern Conference semifinal series tonight, when they host the New Jersey Devils in Game 4 from Scotiabank Place.

The Senators grabbed a two games to one lead in the series by posting a victory in Monday's home contest.

Ottawa earned a 2-0 victory in Game 3 to pull ahead in the best-of-seven series. Ray Emery made 25 saves for his second career playoff shutout, and Tom Preissing scored 4:46 into the third period to break open a scoreless contest for Ottawa.

Jason Spezza added an empty-net goal with 55.5 seconds left, as the fourth- seeded Senators bounced back from a 3-2, double-overtime loss Saturday night.

Mike Comrie set the go-ahead goal in motion when his rising shot from the left boards went wide of the net. Preissing then collected the puck near the right boards and whipped a shot past Martin Brodeur high into the net.

The go-ahead goal by Preissing did not come without controversy, however, as Brodeur was a bit off balance as the skate of Ottawa's Mike Fisher clipped the heel of the goaltender. Replays showed Brodeur's right skate that was touched was barely outside the crease, but no goaltender interference call was made.

Brodeur stopped 32 shots for the Devils, who couldn't capitalize on five power play chances.
