MEDICINE HAT (CP) - The Brandon Wheat Kings struggles at The Arena in Medicine Hat continued on Sunday.
The Tigers dumped Brandon 6-4 in a battle of division leaders before a sellout crowd of 4,006 fans. Brandon is 3-9-1 in its visits over the past five years to Medicine Hat. The Tigers improve to 25-6-2 with the win to remain first in the WHL's Central Division, while Brandon falls to 17-12-0-2. They still remain first in the WHL's East Division.
Derek Dorsett scored a pair for the Tigers, who had singles from Darren Helm, Colton Grant, Jerrid Sauer and Chris Stevens.
Colby Boyle scored the first WHL goal of his career and Andrew Clark had a pair, while Jeff Topilko had a single for Brandon.
