EVERETT, Wash. (CP) - David Reekie recorded his second straight shutout as the Everett Silvertips defeated the Red Deer Rebels 3-0 Wednesday night in Western Hockey League action.
Everett, which dominated throughout, scored all three of its goals in the final nine minutes of the game. Moises Gutierrez broke a scoreless tie at 11:32 of the third period, Brennan Sonne made it 2-0 a minute later and Jesse Smyke added an empty-netter.
