Dave Meckler scores shootout winner as London edges Oshawa 5-4

OSHAWA (CP) - Dave Meckler scored in the fourth round of the shootout to lift the London Knights to a 5-4 win over the Oshawa Generals in Ontario Hockey League action Thursday.
Meckler's shot was initially stopped by Oshawa's Loic Lacasse, however, the puck bounced off his glove, into the air, over his head, and into the net.
Sam Gagner scored two, while Sergei Kostitsyn and Patrick Kane also added markers for the Knights, who improve to 27-10-1-3 with the win.
Cal Clutterbuck scored twice for the Generals, with singles added by Peter Aston and Igor Gongalsky.
