Cyclones Rookie Desjardins Named Rbk Hockey Goaltender Of The Week

PRINCETON, N.J. - Cincinnati rookie Cedrick Desjardins is the Rbk Hockey ECHL Goaltender of the Week for October 20-22.
Making his first professional start on Oct. 21, the 21-year-old turned aside all 37 shots he faced in a 4-0 win against defending North Division champion Toledo, becoming the first netminder in team history to post a shutout in his first game.
Desjardins is assigned to Cincinnati by the Montreal Canadiens of the National Hockey League and under contract to the Hamilton Bulldogs of the American Hockey League. The Cyclones are the ECHL affiliate of the Canadiens and the Bulldogs.
