RALEIGH, N.C. - If you think it will be difficult for the Buffalo Sabres to return to the scene where their season died, stop to consider Jaroslav Spacek's miserable RBC Center memories.

Spacek, who will make his Sabres debut tonight, was on the ice when the Carolina Hurricanes defeated his Edmonton Oilers in Game Seven of the Stanley Cup finals.

"I think it will be worse for me than it will be for the rest of the guys," Spacek said. "But it's behind us. Only one team can win. You have to focus on the new season right now and do everything you can to be the happy ones at the end of the season, the winners."
