Crawford and Pavelski win AHL monthly awards

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (CP) - Corey Crawford of the Norfolk Admirals is the AHL's goaltender of the month while Worcester Sharks centre Joe Pavelski was named the top rookie in October.
Crawford was a perfect 4-0-0 with a 1.25 goals-against average and a .952 save percentage in four appearances to start the 2006-07 season, helping Norfolk to its longest winning streak in nearly five years.
