The Coyotes had a pair of games against division rivals this week and dropped both tests by a single goal. They were handed a 1-0 loss by the visiting Dallas Stars on Thursday and lost another home test to San Jose on Saturday, falling to the Sharks by a 2-1 count.
Yanic Perreault lit the lamp in Saturday's game, and Curtis Joseph made 16 saves on only 18 shots for Phoenix, who have lost four of their last five.
