BRANDON, Man. (CP) - Colton Gillies scored on the power play at 17:30 of the second period to give the Saskatoon Blades a 3-1 victory over the Brandon Wheat Kings in WHL action Tuesday night.
Justin McCrae and Ryan Menei, with an empty-netter, also scored for the Blades (21-28-2-1), who went 2-for-6 on the power play. Daryl Boyle replied for the East Division-leading Wheat Kings (28-18-2-7), who were 0-for-7 on the power play.
