Cody Franson scores in overtime to help Giants beat Hurricanes 4-3

LETHBRIDGE, Alta. (CP) - Cody Franson scored at 1:17 of overtime to give the Vancouver Giants a 4-3 Western Hockey League victory over the Lethbridge Hurricanes Sunday.
Franson activated from the point and took a pass from J.D. Watt before putting a wrist shot through the legs of Michael Maniago for the game-winner.
Watt also had a pair of goals for the Giants (17-1-1-1) and Michal Repik added a single.
