BRANDON, Man. (CP) - Codey Burki became the top scorer in the league after nabbing goal and two assists Friday as the Brandon Wheat Kings defeated the Red Deer Rebels 3-2 in Western Hockey League action.
Juraj Simek scored the third-period game-winner, and Jeff Topilko also scored for the East Division-leading Wheat Kings (17-10-0-2), who have won six in a row.
