OTTAWA (CP) - Cal Clutterbuck scored the winning goal in a shootout Friday night as the Oshawa Generals defeated the Ottawa 67's 6-5 in Ontario Hockey League action.

Clutterbuck went to his forehand then pulled the puck to his backhand to get Lukas Flueler out of position and get the goal. Mark Packwood then stopped Brett Liscomb of the 67's to get the Generals the victory, just their second in their past eight games.

Brett MacLean had two goals in regulation for the Generals (10-12-0-3) who entered the third period tied 5-5 with the 67's. Dale Mitchell, Kyle Paige and John Tavares also scored.

The 67's (10-12-0-2) got two goals and an assist from Logan Couture while Cody Lindsay, Liscomb and Jamie McGinn had a goal each.

The teams meet again Saturday afternoon in Oshawa.

"It was frustrating. We were tied with those guys in points now they're one up on us," said Couture.
