The last time the Edmonton Oilers played against the Anaheim Ducks, Chris Pronger was celebrating a Western Conference title after the Oilers eliminated the Ducks from the playoffs.

Tonight, Pronger will face his former teammates for the first time since being traded to Anaheim in July.

You can watch the game live in the second half of the NHL on TSN's doubleheader at 10pm et/7pm pt. The first game features another great Western Conference battle as the Detroit Red Wings host Joe Thornton and the San Jose Sharks (7:30pm et/4:30pm pt).

Oiler fans were on top of the world last spring, as Pronger - who signed a five-year, $31.25 million contract with the team after being acquired in the offseason - helped lead Edmonton to the Stanley Cup Final.

The team lost to the Carolina Hurricanes in seven games, and the shockwaves in Edmonton continued after Pronger asked to be traded less than a week later.

Oilers general manager Kevin Lowe was immediately on the lookout for a trading partner, and the Brian Burke's Ducks came calling. The team sent young forward Joffrey Lupul, defenceman Ladislav Smid and a package of draft picks for the former Hart and Norris Trophy winner.
