Bowling Green junior forward Jonathan Matsumoto and Western Michigan senior forward Paul Szczechura took turns recording their 100th career points in a weekend series. Matsumoto, a native of Orleans, Ont., as well as a Philadelphia Flyers draft pick, reached 100 after tallying a goal and an assist in a 5-1 Falcons victory over the Broncos on Jan 5. Szczechura, who is from Brantford, Ont., became a member of the century club after registering two goals and an assist in a 5-0 win at Bowling Green on Jan. 6.

Ferris State sophomore forward Brendan Connolly of Canmore, Alta., recorded his first career two-goal game in a 5-3 win at Northern Michigan on Jan. 6. Junior forward and Nashville Predators draft pick Mike Santorelli of Burnaby, B.C., tallied two goals and an assist for Northern Michigan in the loss. He leads the NCAA with four short-handed goals.
