WASHINGTON (CP) - The Washington Capitals signed veteran enforcer Donald Brashear to a one-year contract extension Monday.
The 35-year-old left-winger signed a US$1-million, one-year deal with the Capitals last July. The six-foot-two 235-pounder has seven points (2-5) in 52 games this season and a team-leading 125 penalty minutes.
