I don't know if L.A. would be willing for this deal, but this is my Idea

Canucks:
Cory Schnieder
Mason Raymond
Ryan Kesler
Keith Ballard
3rd round pick

For L.A.'s:
Drew Doughty
Jonathan Bernier
Mike Richards
Jarett Stoll

Or,
Schnieder
Raymond
Ballard
2nd round pick

to Nashville for

Anders Lindback
Jordin Tootoo
Shea Weber (Or Ryan Suter if Weber is too much)

Change up a bit if you want, I'm open to ideas.

Schneider should hold the most value going to a team that's looking for a young goaltender that can be a number one guy, not a simple backup swap. LA has Quick and Nashville has Rinne, neither of which are going to go anywhere.

If you're dead-set on trading Schneider, I think a team like Columbus (who rightfully should have concerns about Mason), Tampa Bay, or New Jersey would be more willing to pay a significant price for him.

Regardless, since both all three teams involved are in playoff positions, it doesn't make sense that they would be trading key players at this time - maybe in the off-season. Given the names involved, I doubt they'd make blockbuster moves like this, but then again, we did see the Flyers do it last year.

You're right, and I understand your point, but the problem with trading to Columbus is there is no Doughty, Weber, or Suter caliber defencemen, or a centre to replace Kesler. Also, If I were to trade Schnieder, i'd want to get a good back-up in case Luongo flops in the play-offs. Maybe Rick Nash for Schnieder, Raymond, and Ballard after the Canucks pick up Suter/Mike Green and Rask as Free Agents during the off-season.
