VANCOUVER, British Columbia (Ticker) -- The Columbus Blue Jackets earned their first victory under new coach Ken Hitchcock last Saturday after losing their previous eight contests.

The Blue Jackets try to build on that win when they visit the Vancouver Canucks on Tuesday.

Vancouver defenseman Kevin Bieksa had a goal in a 4-1 loss to the Colorado Avalanche last Sunday. Goaltender Roberto Luongo stopped 35 shots for the Canucks.

Vancouver has lost their last two games and have been outscored 10-1 over that span. They are beginning a 5-game string at home.
