(Sports Network) - A Stanley Cup Finals rematch is on tap tonight when the reigning-champion Carolina Hurricanes visit the Edmonton Oilers at Rexall Place.

The teams last met in the spring, battling a fierce seven games. Carolina ultimately took home the prize, winning 3-1 in Game 7 at the RBC Center in Raleigh.

The Hurricanes have been up-and-down so far during their quest for a repeat. Tuesday marked one of the valleys, as they were blanked, 3-0, in Calgary to begin a four-game road trip. Miikka Kiprusoff made 23 saves for his fourth shutout of the season to lift the Flames.

John Grahame allowed two goals on 31 shots for the Hurricanes, who had a two- game winning streak ended. Conn Smythe Trophy winner Cam Ward will likely be back between the pipes tonight.

The Canes, who are seven points behind first-place Atlanta in the Southeast Division race, will visit Vancouver on Friday.

Edmonton, meanwhile, ended a three-game skid on Monday, as Dwayne Roloson stopped all 36 shots he faced to anchor a 4-0 win over Vancouver at GM Place.

Petr Sykora notched two assists, Raffi Torres picked up a goal and one assist, while Shawn Horcoff, Daniel Tjarnqvist and Joffrey Lupul scored for Edmonton.

Roloson was unable to participate in most of last spring's Finals series, as he suffered a serious knee injury in Game 1.
