RALEIGH, N.C. (CP) - Winger Andrew Ladd of the Carolina Hurricanes will be out two to four weeks after undergoing an emergency appendectomy.
The surgery was performed Thursday and Ladd was at home recovering Friday.
The Hurricanes recalled forward Keith Aucoin from the AHL's Albany River Rats to fill Ladd's roster spot.
