Martin St. Louis looks to set a Tampa Bay Lightning record by recording a point in 14 straight games when his team visits the Carolina Hurricanes on Saturday before heading into the All-Star break.
St. Louis matched the franchise record on Thursday, when he assisted on the second of two goals by Brad Richards in a 3-2 shootout win at New Jersey. St. Louis also reached the mark from Feb. 5-March 3, 2004.
Brian Bradley and Vaclav Prospal also recorded a point in 13 consecutive games for the Lightning (25-22-2).
St. Louis, who finished with 31 goals and 30 assists in 2005-06, has already surpassed that point total this season with a team-leading 64 and is tied with Vincent Lecavalier for the team lead in goals with 29.
