(Sports Network) - The Carolina Hurricanes seek their third consecutive win tonight when they open a four-game road trip in Calgary against the Flames at the Saddledome.

On Saturday, Eric Staal had two goals and Justin Williams scored on a shorthanded breakaway as the Hurricanes reeled off four consecutive goals to beat Boston, 5-2.

Williams and Erik Cole each finished with a goal and an assist, while Rod Brind'amour added two helpers for the Hurricanes, who have won three of their last four games overall.

Ray Whitney also scored for Carolina and Cam Ward ended with 17 saves.

Carolina, with 33 points, is five behind first-place Atlanta in the Southeast Division race. The Canes will continue their trek on Wednesday in Edmonton.

Calgary, meanwhile, has also won two straight. On Friday, Jarome Iginla and Chuck Kobasew scored less than three minutes apart in the third period, boosting Calgary to its seventh straight home win, 2-1, over Columbus.
