Calgary, AB - Calgary Flames General Manager and Head Coach Darryl Sutter announced today the signing of restricted free agent forward Kristian Huselius. As per club policy, terms and conditions of the deal were not disclosed.

KRISTIAN HUSELIUS, played in 78 games between the Flames and Florida Panthers this past season recording 47 points (20 goals, 27 assists) and 40 penalty minutes. The 6’1” 190 lbs. forward has posted 166 points (73 goals, 93 assists) and 98 penalty minutes in 311 NHL career games. The native of Sweden was drafted in the second round, 47th overall, by the Panthers in the 1997 Entry Draft.

Huselius has represented Sweden in five International tournaments including the World Junior Championships in 1998 and 1999 as well as the World Championships in 2000, 2001 and 2002
