TSN.CA REPORTS THE CALGARY FLAMES HAVE DEALT FORWARD CAM SEVERSON TO THE COLUMBUS BLUE JACKETS IN EXCHANGE FOR DEFENCEMAN CALE HULSE.

Spector's Note: Hulse is a career minor league tough-guy forward and Jackets GM Doug MacLean sees him as someone who'll bring added toughness to his forward lines. Hulse is a stay-at-home blueliner oft mentioned in recent trade speculation, and as a Calgary native must be thrilled to be going home to the Flames.
Just what the flames need.....ANOTHER d-man. Unless Sutter is gearing up so he can use another defensman as trade bait i.e. Leopold who is rumored to be offered to the Panthers in order to get Oli Jokenin to the flames for some much needed offensive help.
