With Burke's announcement that he is staying in Anaheim for at least one more year, is anyone else starting to get a bad feeling about what is happening in how he is setting himself up to take over in Toronto?
IMO, the league needs to step into this situation right now before it gets way out of hand and ends up making the league look even more bush.
What happens should Burke go into the draft weekend and trades Perry and Pronger to the Leafs? Is that not why the NHL's anti-tampering and anti-collusion regulations are in place?
There needs to be a pre-emptive move by the league's part on this, where both the Leafs and the Ducks are prevented from dealing with each other over the next year.
