Vancouver Canucks defenseman Ed Jovanovski will miss the Olympics because of a lower abdominal injury which requires surgery. Jovanovski's replacement will be Brian McCabe. Good choice I say, hes had a phenominal season so far especially considering the condition of the Leafs.
Team Canada is also awaiting a decision from Anaheim defenseman Scott Niedermayer, who has a small tear in his knee that may require arthroscopic surgery. The Mighty Ducks have given him the option to decide when he wants to have surgery. I think surgery will definately be taking him out of the roster.

Any suggestions for a replacement?
