Well, she's not a done deal yet but hey, I only hope this is a sign of things to come.

Do you think an all Swedish line of the Sedins with Brunnstrom is a line that is going to lead us to the Stanley Cup?I'm not going to complain yet, it's an entry level contract, so if he doesn't play the whole year it won't hit the 2mil. (right? there are some things I don't get when it comes to these contracts)
Anyways, who knows, he might light it up.
I can think of alot of other free agents we could sign in the off season to make this team better, but let's face it, there's no garantee that we're the ones who will end up with them.
So all in all, I say go for it, we're not losing any players or prospects for him.
Maybe I'm being overly positive, but the way I see it, it can't get much worst right?
I agree. Not to mention Brunnstrom reportedly had a terrible playoff with his Swedish team.Do you think an all Swedish line of the Sedins with Brunnstrom is a line that is going to lead us to the Stanley Cup?
Even if he steps in and becomes another Alfredsson, look at the underachieving the Sens have so grandly displayed during Alfredsson's tenure.
Teams built around Euros don't win Stanley Cups. Period.
Mark my words. This is a big waste of time and money.

OK...just remember this conversation when we're heading into camp in September and the forward group looks like this...I wouldn't play him with the Sedins, sign Ryder and put him with them.
I'm not saying this guy will be our saviour, but if he can get 20-25 goals on a 2nd or 3rd line, I won't complain. Based on the videos I've seen he looks like an explosive offesive player, and he's not that small at 200+ pounds.
You might be right Gordo, but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt before I comment.
No Naslund?OK...just remember this conversation when we're heading into camp in September and the forward group looks like this...
Daniel / Henrik / Brunnstrom
Raymond / Morrison / Grabner
Pyatt / Kesler / Burrows
Pettinger / Rypien / Brown
Cowan / Hansen

No. Naslund is done here. Even if Nonis wants him back, he won't come. And he's smart not to. He could take 5 mil per to play with the Ducks, Avs, Leafs, Habs or Red Wings and his numbers will be much better because he'll be allowed to fit the role he's suited for...a support scorer on a skilled line rather than a linchpin on a line of checkers. No Naslund?
So nothing really against Naslund? I know that the Wings have some interest in him, but Wings fans often reject the idea, thinking he's washed up. I always thought he was a player who would fit in great on our team. The only problem is trying to fit him under the cap along with Rafi, Lids, Datsyuk, and Zetterberg.No. Naslund is done here. He's a square peg here now on a team full of round holes (or perhaps starfish shaped holes would be the better adjective...yeah, brown starfish holes).
It's in Naslund's best interest to sign somewhere else.
If I were Detroit, I'd sign him. Believe me, Naslund is still a guy that can threaten the 40 goal mark. Will he challenge for the Art Ross again, no. But with the right linemates...a playmaking centre and a winger that can make some room for him, on a team that makes scoring a priority? Yeah, I could see another two or three years where he pushes the 40 goal mark.So nothing really against Naslund?
