CHILLIWACK, BC - The Chilliwack Bruins are pleased to announce the hiring of Dan Price as Assistant Coach.

Dan played Junior ‘A’ hockey in Trail and Fort St. John, B.C. before beginning his college hockey career with the University of Regina Cougars in what was then the CIAU. Dan retired from competitive athletics to attend law school at the University of Saskatchewan in 1998 and moved to Calgary in 2001 to begin his law practice. Once back in Alberta, he returned to competitive hockey as a coach and scout, and comes to the Bruins after having most recently served as a Head Coach in the 2006 Alberta Cup, and as the Southern Alberta Regional Scout for the WHL’s Regina Pats. Price spent three season with the Pats organization.

Bruins Head Coach Jim Hiller commented on the hiring.

“Dan is extremely dedicated and passionate about the game. He knows the league very well and his technical knowledge is outstanding. He is a high achiever and we’re excited to have him on board.”

The Chilliwack Bruins innaugural training camp begins August 23rd at Prospera Centre.
