(Sports Network) - The Nashville Predators hope to get back in the win column this evening, when they welcome the Boston Bruins to Gaylord Entertainment Center.

The Predators had won back-to-back games before dropping a test in Dallas on Friday. Antti Miettinen registered the first two-goal game of his career to help the Stars defeat Nashville, 4-1.

Scott Hartnell had the lone goal for Nashville, which had also won seven of eight coming into Friday. Chris Mason allowed three goals on 29 shots.

The Predators haven't dropped consecutive contests since a three-game losing streak from December 2-6.

The good news for Nashville is that it's back in the Music City, where the club is an impressive 11-2-3 this season.

The Bruins are coming off a victory, as they downed the Blackhawks in Chicago on Friday. Patrice Bergeron netted the eventual game-winning goal in Boston's 5-3 win at the United Center.
