(Sports Network) - The Toronto Maple Leafs try to build on Friday's impressive win tonight when they welcome the Boston Bruins to Air Canada Centre for the opener of a two-game set.

Jeff O'Neill and Darcy Tucker each scored a goal and had two assists as the Maple Leafs pounded the Washington Capitals, 7-1, at the Verizon Center.

Mike Peca, Hal Gill and Matt Stajan all had a goal and an assist for the Maple Leafs, who have won two of their last three games.

Goaltender Andrew Raycroft turned aside 22 shots for Toronto, which scored four goals in the second period to take command of the contest.

The Leafs scored seven goals without captain Mats Sundin, who has been out for seven games with a torn ligament in his elbow. Despite the initial prognosis of 3-4 weeks on the shelf, Sundin will likely be back on game ice in tonight's contest.

Boston, meanwhile, has lost two of its last three games since its first winning streak of the season (four games). On Friday afternoon the Bruins dropped a 5-1 tilt to visiting Carolina, as former Bruin John Grahame stopped 25 shots and five different players scored for the Hurricanes.
