SWIFT CURRENT, Sask. (CP) - The Swift Current Broncos scored five unanswered goals in the second period and four more in the third en route to a 9-0 blowout win over the visiting Regina Pats in Western Hockey League action Friday.

The Broncos had singles from David Stieler, Phil Gervais, Dane Crowley, Levi Nelson, Matt Tassone, Jeremy Schenderling, Paul Postma, while Dale Weise scored twice.

Michael Wilson had a three assist game. Two assist efforts were recorded by Schenderling, Spencer McAvoy, Zack Smith, Geordie Wudrick, and affiliated player Justin Dowling during his first ever WHL game.

Swift Current went five for seven on the power play, including two goals during a late game five minute major.

Regina failed to register a shot on goal while going zero for four with the man advantage.

Broncos goaltender Kyle Moir won his 13th game and posted his fifth shutout of the season with a 28-save performance.

Regina starting goaltender Linden Rowat allowed four goals on 19 shots on goal during his 35:56 stint in goal.
