With only a 15,000 arena downtown Winnipeg is still far ways off from having the Jets back. A more plausible circumstance and even better for the city is to bring the WHL back to Winnipeg. By doing so the city can build a decent young talent program back to Winnipeg. And with a city starving for hockey I would sooner go watch a WHL game and see kids playing for their careers than watch AHL games.

I have no idea and I have been wondering why Winnipeg would not have WHL team. Is there any reason other than they have the Moose?

Jets--Coyotes

I appreciate all leagues . I had the WHL when i lived in Portland Oregon. I grew up in Los Angeles with the Kings and now i Live in Phoenix with the Coyotes --former jets and the Phoenix Roadrunners .Personally I have never seen an AHL game ,but seeing WHL,ECHL,NHL and CHL with the Sundogs --I think all levels are great . and should be appreciated. --Beats the heck outta not having any hockey at all . COme on down and see the Jets --ermmm--Coyotes sometime
