Bridgeport ended its three game losing skid on the road with a 5-3 win over Providence at the Dunkin Donuts Center.
Petteri Nokelainen scored a pair of goals and Eric Boguniecki recorded three assists for the Sound Tigers, who prior to this afternoon’s tilt, were outscored 11-3 in their last two games.
Billy Thompson earned his sixth win of the year by stopping 43 of 46 shots in the contest.
Petr Kalus and All-Star defenseman Matt Lashoff each tallied a goal and an assist for the P-Bruins, who have dropped two straight since going 10-0-0-1 in their previous 11 games.
