BRANDON, Man. (CP) - Zack Boychuk scored the shootout winner to give the Lethbridge Hurricanes a 6-5 victory over the Brandon Wheat Kings in the Western Hockey League on Wednesday night.
Mitch Fadden had with three goals in regulation, while Boychuk and Kris Hogg each scored once for the Hurricanes (25-22-2-3).
Codey Burki scored two goals, while Tyler Dittmer, Mark Derlago and Rob Klinkhammer also scored for the East Division-leading Wheat Kings (27-17-2-7) in front of a standing-room-only crowd of 5,707 at the Keystone Centre.
