PORTLAND, Ore. (CP) - Drayson Bowman scored twice in a four-goal first period that lifted the Spokane Chiefs to a 5-2 win over the Portland Winter Hawks on Tuesday in the Western Hockey League.
Ondrej Roman and Seth Compton also scored in the first period while David Rutherford added a third-period goal for the Chiefs (8-8-3-0). Frazer McLaren replied with a pair of goals - his ninth and 10th of the season - in a losing cause for the Winter Hawks (7-10-0-0), who have dropped two straight.
