My son just turned 5 and he has been skating for a year and a half and he has a problem with his right leg bowing out. The skate specialist at our local hockey store had us ditch his Bauer Vapors for Rebook 11Ks. This seemed to help the problem a little, but it did not eliminate it. Now he put a heel wedge inside the skate on the right leg to see if this helps.

This leg bowing is making it difficult for him to skate fast as he is unable transfer his power. But he is the fastest in his class when it comes to skating backwards and he is able to perform all other drills.

We did take him to an orthopedic doctor and they couldn't find anything wrong with him. I am at a loss.
