MEDICINE HAT, Alta (CP) - Brennan Bosch's goal at 4:29 of the second period proved to be the winner as the Medicine Hat Tigers edged the Brandon Wheat Kings 2-1 on Tuesday night in WHL action.

Kris Russell had the other goal for the Tigers (36-14-2-0), who've won six straight games. Russell now has six goals in six games since returning to Medicine Hat after helping Canada win gold at the world junior hockey championship. Russell's 23 goals are the most this season by an WHL defenceman.
