(Sports Network) - The Tampa Bay Lightning continue their current road trip tonight when they visit the New York Islanders at Nassau Coliseum.
The Lightning are 1-0-1 on the swing so far, and have lost four of their last five games overall. On Saturday they dropped a 6-5 overtime tilt to Boston, as Glen Murray scored the game-winning goal 17 seconds into the extra frame.
Tampa lost despite netting a franchise-record four second-period goals.
Ruslan Fedotenko, Brad Richards, Nikita Alexeev, Martin St. Louis and Dimitry Afanasenkov each scored for the Lightning, while Vincent Lecavalier added four assists.
Lightning goaltender Marc Denis stopped 27-of-33 shots in the loss.
Tampa Bay will finish its road trip on Wednesday in Pittsburgh.
New York, meanwhile, had a three-game winning streak ended in Saturday's 4-1 loss to visiting Atlanta. Marian Hossa continued his sizzling start to the season with a goal and an assist to lift the Thrashers.
