(Sports Network) - The Lightning were struggling entering Thursday's game with Philadelphia. Things, however, have a way of changing when facing a club you have defeated eight straight times.

Tampa Bay won 4-1 at the St. Pete Times Forum, and instead of being losers in four-of-five they are winners in two-of-three. Former Flyers Vinny Prospal and Ruslan Fedotenko each scored a goal against their old team and Marc Denis made 34 saves as Tampa Bay extended its regular-season winning streak against Philadelphia to nine.

Ryan Craig and Nikita Alexeev added goals, while Vincent Lecavalier and Brad Richards each had two assists for the Lightning, who have outscored Philadelphia 43-16 over the nine-game series streak.

Craig netted his team-leading fifth goal of the season, while he is tied with Lecavalier for the scoring lead at six points. Fedotenko and Alexeev are both one point back with five.
