(Sports Network) - The St. Louis Blues will try to rebound from a fruitless homestand, as they visit the Chicago Blackhawks this evening at the United Center.

The Blues were 0-3-0 during their three-game homestand, dropping games to Phoenix, San Jose and Nashville.

The most recent setback came Thursday evening against the Predators as Scott Hartnell and David Legwand both tallied a goal and an assist to propel the Nashville to a 5-4 win at Scottrade Center.

Bill Guerin scored twice while Keith Tkachuk picked up a goal and a helper for St. Louis, which is 3-9-0 in its last 12 contests. Manny Legace gave up five goals on 17 shots in the loss and Curtis Sanford didn't need to make a save in his 5 1/2 minutes of relief.

Tonight the Blues will try their luck on the road, where they are just 3-7-1 this year.

Meanwhile, the Blackhawks hope they can finish a brief two-game homestand with a perfect mark after posting a 2-1 victory over Dallas on Wednesday. Tuomo Ruutu scored the game-winning goal on a breakaway with 1:48 remaining as the Blackhawks gave new head coach Denis Savard a win in his first game behind the bench.
