The St. Louis Blues have placed goaltender Manny Legace on injured reserve after he suffered a head injury in Wednesday's practice.

The club has recalled goaltender Marek Schwarz under emergency conditions from the Peoria Rivermen on the AHL.

In 17 games with the Blues this season, Legace has a 5-10-1 record with a .883 save percentage and a 3.48 goals against average.

I hope Schwarz can prove himself for the blues, I remember him from the World Juniors and thought he did really well. In my opinion he's going to be a great goalie in the NHL.
